Hi Its Tuesday somewhere!!!!!!
Hi Carla and my OFF family:
I was up when you wrote, but dozing in bed watching one last baseball game (Dodgers vs. Cardinals ... Cardinals won). Watched the White Sox win ... the bullpen blew the game but then the Sox came back and won anyway, fortunately, 8-7.
It's gloomy already and looks like it's going to rain again ... I'm so sick of rain. I know there are areas that need it, but we've had so much rain and stormy weather this summer, I wi**** would pass us by. Just gives me a headache (literally).
I'm so glad I took today off. I really need an extra day after going to Chicago for the weekend. I'm not ready to go back to work. No big plans for today; I do have to go to a psychologist appointment at 10:30 a.m., but then the rest of the day is mine. Just going to be pretty lazy. I have to finish laundry, though. Need to wash sheets.
George, I watched the Rangers-Twins game for awhile while the Sox game was in a rain delay ... glad your guys could beat the Twins this time around and help the Sox out. Keep it up!

Good morning to you, Carla and my OFF family. I hope that this Tuesday is extra mighty fine for all of you. Heck...I hope it is for me too for that matter!
I am ready to go to the I.D. doctor this morning. I leave in a bit and then just hope that I don't have to wait as long as I did last week. What use to take me 45 minutes for the whole shot took me almost an hour and a half. I think that I am going to ask her to take another culture just to ease my own mind.
Bill is doing well. He is having some problems with his legs hurting but I told him what I thought was wrong. I mean he laid up there for 5 days doing nothing. The first 2 days he couldn't even go to the bathroom. So he starts going to the bathroom and then he has to go back to bed. Finally they get him up to for a little walk on Saturday and another one on Sunday and then bam......Sunday late afternoon you can go home now. I told him his legs are getting use to being used again and they are sore from doing nothing. He is now snoozing in his recliner. He ended up getting up during the night and sleeping in the chair. On a whole he is doing well. I have to call the doctor and make an appointment for him on Friday.
I am hurting like hell. That is the best that I can say. Bill told me this morning that he can hardly move and all I could say to him is that now he knows how I feel. I just had that pop out of my mouth before I knew it. But heck, he has been having me be a gopher most of the time and I hurt, darn it! I just hurt...that is the best that I can say right now. I am glad that I am going to my pcp tomorrow...but I wonder if I can even drive. Bill is taking me to the I.D. doctor but I told him that I will get there on my own. Let's see what happens.......

It has been so humid that I don't dare go out unless I have to. I hate having to stay in the house during the summer. It is going to be 82* today and the levels of humidity is going to start falling this morning and more so this afternoon. That is good news. But the down thing on that I can't shut my sliding screen door and so I can't open the sliding door and I have just 2 windows...kitchen and bedroom so the air stays on I guess. We called to have the screen fixed a week ago and then again yesterday and Bill checked on what they are going to do about the stairs. Of course someone was there but didn't answer the phone. They do that a lot and then during the day they lock the door so you can't go in to talk to them either. You hear them laughing inside...I guess that is the example of someone is home but not all there.
I better get going. I am sitting to long..have to get up for a bit. I hope that you all have a great day today and know that I am sending love and hugs to all. I am saying prayers for everyone too. Don't forget to smile at someone today...that is a good form of scattering the good things in your life.

Marilyn, I fell the other day coming up the steps in front of my apartment building. I fell flat on my back and I have had doctors tell me to make sure I don't fall because it is so fragile that I could break it. I was bringing Bill home from the hospital and then he had to turn around and take me back for x rays...they found no new fractures and I am to take pain pills and muscle relaxers..which I do anyway. I am hurting in the small of my back (where the disc disease and herniated discs are along with the sciatica and arthritis and on and on..). I am keeping heat and that on it several times a day but when I feel the pain it is really in the part where the tail bone is...which when I broke it a long time ago is what started all this back mess. I got a disability from it 19 years ago and we all know that it is worse now than it was then.

Yup, It's Tuesday. Probably calls to Dr.s today to try & find out where we go from
here to get this back surgery in the works. I have made the conclusion that Yes, I do need it & necessary, so lets get rolling. I would rather get it over with & back to work
then sit here & worry about when it might be. Other than that same ole, same ole stuff.
Our friend Laura is better, but, still awhile from coming home. So we still have the puppy. She is great fun. Doodle is her name. 8 mos old. Keeps me out walking a few
times a day even in the heat. So that is a good thing, even short walks is better than none. We were 108 yesterday. Actaully been a pretty mild summer for us. Could be

Hello to everyone else.......
My day started with a great bike ride....I do enjoy my "alone" time on the bike. Gives me peaceful time to just be with my thoughts, enjoy the wind on my back (hate riding into the wind), enjoying being with nature. Good way to start the day.
Matthew bought a Step Machine on Sunday (I think it's a "peace offering" not a hint that I need to work out more). I think I'm going to love this thing.....5 mins on it and I already felt it in the buttocks!
Heading out on my 1.5 hour drive to the surgeon this morning........I'm going for my preop appointment. VERY EXCITED.....only 2 weeks away for Tummy Tuck and Breast Lift. WAHOOO

Hello to everyone else.......

I am feeling better finally. The depression has lifted and boy am I glad!
I joined a gym last week and that has helped so much. I love to exercise and haven't been able to do much of anything for so long. Sitting around drives me crazy. I am normally an active person. This broken hip did a real number on me. Both physically and mentally. The swimming pool and a few machines to workout on and I am a happy woman!!
I still haven't caught up on everyones posts from over the weekend....hopefully today will be the day.

well today i had my pap test done...dr said everything looks good but we still have to wait about a month for the results. so ok i understand that.
its still hot and humid here...power went out about 5 am today and its back on now but dam it sure is hot in here!!! possible t storms later on...looks like rain soon but hard telling.
tried giving bandit a haircut last night...lol he looks ok but we sure can't do the legs good...he has short hair on body but long on his legs...he is a puffy legged dog now...lol but he looks ok. maybe later tonight we will try the legs again. bandit goes in for his shots this afternoon and i will not be charged for an office call because he was sick when i took him in last time. so thats a good thing!!! $38 saved...whooohoooo but shots will cost me $30 so i am still paying but not as much so i am happy for that.

If there was one it didnt touch down anywhere around where I was.

I know there are Hurricanes brewing in the Atlantic. One was supposed to touch down near Pensacola florida. One is brewing int he atlantic and heading towards Aruba.
